Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of platvix.com and the Platvix platform, operated by Platvix Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales with its registered office at Victoria Building, Middlesbrough, United Kingdom. By using the Services you agree to them.

The Services are for business use. By using them you confirm that you are at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract. If you use the Services for a company, you confirm you have authority to bind it. Where you contract as a consumer, your statutory rights are not affected by anything in these Terms.

Our Privacy Policy explains what we do with personal data and forms part of your agreement with us.

• User. Anyone who accesses or uses the Site and Services.
• Your Content. Anything you upload, post or send through the Services, including decks, documents, metrics and messages.
• AI Outputs. Analyses, scores, derived facts, research results, plans and drafts the Services generate for you.
• Plan. Free or Pro, as described in Section 4.
• Credits. The prepaid units used to pay for chargeable work, described in Section 5.
• Workspace. One startup, its content, and the people who have access to it.
• Partner Programme. An arrangement under which a third party, such as an accelerator, provides Credits or benefits to startups it refers to us.

You create an account by signing in with LinkedIn, Google, or a one-time email code. If you sign in with LinkedIn or Google you allow us to receive the profile data those providers share.

Keep your information accurate and current. You are responsible for what happens on your account, and you agree to tell us straight away if it is used without your permission.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the Services for your own business purposes, subject to these Terms.

We work to keep the Services available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may carry out maintenance and updates, and we will make reasonable efforts to give notice of significant planned downtime. Support is at support@platvix.com and through the in-app chat, and we aim to answer within one business day.

Free needs no card and does not expire. Pro is a monthly subscription, priced per startup, and includes your workspace and its members.

Renewal

Pro renews automatically each month on the date you started it, and is charged to your saved payment method, until you cancel. Prices are shown before checkout and include applicable taxes unless we say otherwise. Payments are processed by Stripe.

The founding price

While the founding window is open, Pro is offered below its list price. The founding price is yours for as long as your subscription lives. If you cancel and later subscribe again, you pay the price in force at that time.

Cancelling

You can cancel from your account at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the month you have paid for, you keep Pro until then, and we do not refund part of a month. When it ends, your workspace returns to Free. What Free keeps is set out in Section 12.

Currency and price changes

Prices are shown in US dollars or pounds sterling. We may change our prices for future billing periods and will give you notice in the product before a change affects you. A change never applies to a period you have already paid for.

Chargeable work is paid for with Credits. The Credit price of a deliverable is shown in the product before you commit to it. Credits are a prepayment for services. They are not money, they cannot be transferred, and they are not redeemable for cash except where the law requires it or where this section says so.

If we discontinue the Services, or end your account for a reason other than your breach, we refund the unused Credits you paid for.

A workspace holds one startup. On Free it has one person. On Pro the owner can invite up to three others into the same workspace.

The owner is the person we contract with. They hold the plan, the billing and the right to invite and remove members. Each member needs their own account and is bound by these Terms.

Members share the workspace’s Flow history, including conversations from before they joined, which is why an invitation asks them to accept that before it completes. Content a member uploads belongs to the workspace and stays with it.

The owner can remove a member at any time, and a removed member loses access immediately. Conversations and content from their time in the workspace remain in it.

If you sign up through a partner link or redeem a partner invite, you receive the Credits or benefits attached to that programme, and the partner can see the status of the referral: that you signed up, when, and the status of what it provided. Partners do not see your Content, your conversations or your results. Partner Credits can expire, and their expiry is shown in the product. A Partner Programme does not make the partner our agent, and any separate arrangement between you and a partner is between you and them.

The Services generate analyses, scores, research, plans and drafts using AI models and public data. AI Outputs can be incomplete, out of date or wrong. They are for your information. They are not financial, legal or investment advice, and we do not promise that using the Services will result in funding or any other outcome.

You are responsible for reviewing an output before relying on it. Anything sent to someone else, such as an outreach email, is sent by you and in your name. AI Outputs produced for you are yours to use. We keep ownership of the Services that produced them.

Your Content stays yours. By submitting it you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce and process it solely to provide the Services to you.

We do not use your Content to train AI models, and our providers are contractually barred from doing so.

You are responsible for your Content. Do not submit anything you do not have the right to use, anything defamatory or obscene, anything that infringes someone else’s rights, or anything containing malicious code. We can remove content that breaches these Terms.

Use the Services lawfully. You agree to:

• Upload only content you have the right to use, and keep your materials accurate as far as you know
• Use outreach features responsibly and within the law, and review every message before it is sent
• Respect other users and our staff

You agree not to:

• Use the Services in breach of any law or regulation
• Infringe anyone else’s intellectual property
• Interfere with the Services or with anyone else’s use of them
• Upload viruses, malware or other harmful code
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Services or another account, or scrape the Services
• Send unsolicited bulk messages
• Give materially false information about your company to obtain analyses, Credits or introductions
• Harass or abuse other users or our staff

The Site and Services, including their text, graphics, logos, software and the design of our analyses, belong to Platvix Ltd or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property law. Your Content remains yours, and AI Outputs produced for you are yours to use as set out in Section 8.

Apart from your own content and outputs, you may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publish or resell material from the Services without our written permission.

If you cancel Pro

Your workspace returns to Free at the end of the month you have paid for. You keep your company record, your pipeline within the Free limits, and every Credit you purchased. Teammates lose access, because a workspace on Free holds one person. The founding price does not carry over if you subscribe again.

If you delete your account

We delete what you gave us: your materials, your record, your conversations, your pipeline and your notes. Information we extracted about your company from public sources stays in our funding directory, because it did not come from you. Records we must keep by law, such as billing, are kept for the statutory period. This is described in our Privacy Policy.

If we end it

We can suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms, and immediately where the breach is serious. If we end your account for your breach, purchased Credits are forfeited. If we end it for any other reason, or discontinue the Services, we refund them. Promotional and partner Credits lapse either way.

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure or error free, or that AI Outputs will be accurate or complete. We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Platvix Ltd and its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers and affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including lost profits, data, use or goodwill, arising from:

• Your use of, or inability to use, the Services
• Your reliance on an AI Output, or a decision made or message sent on the basis of one
• The conduct or content of a third party on the Services
• Unauthorised access to or alteration of your content

Our total liability under these Terms will not exceed what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

You agree to defend and indemnify Platvix Ltd and its employees, contractors, agents, officers and directors against claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your use of the Services, your breach of these Terms, or your infringement of a third party’s rights, including through content you send using material the Services produced.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that either of us may seek injunctive relief in any competent court. Before starting proceedings, we both agree to try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting the other.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Changes are posted on this page, and we will give you at least 30 days’ notice by email of a material change. Continuing to use the Services after the change takes effect means you accept it.

Links to other sites

The Services contain links to sites we do not control, including investor websites our research surfaces. We are not responsible for their content, their privacy practices or what they do.

Feedback

If you send us feedback or suggestions about the Services, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, transferable and sublicensable licence to use it without restriction. Feedback does not include your Content.

The rest

These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between us about the Services and replace anything agreed before. If a provision is held invalid, the rest stands and the invalid one is replaced by a valid one closest to its intent. If we do not enforce a right, we have not waived it, and any waiver must be in writing and signed by us.
